چکیده
Lignocellulosic materials have been used as bioadsorbents for contaminants removal from industrial effluents due to their physical-chemical properties, renewable source, low-cost and efficiency that make them competitive commercial activated carbon. The objective of this work is develop an efficient low cost bioadsorbent reusing the cashew nut shell (Anarcadium accidentale L), CNS, metal ions (Cu2+ Cr3+). CNS was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), point zero charge (pHpzc) Boehm titration. kinetics adsorption equilibrium experiments were carried out in a monoelementary system, batch runs at room temperature. evaluated mathematical models pseudo first-order, second-order intraparticle diffusion, while isotherm adjusted according Langmuir, Freundlich Redlich-Peterson models. percentage 91% (Cu2+) 96% (Cr3+) better model, suggesting predominance chemisorption. fit Langmuir experimental data Cu2+ Cr3+ ions, indicating monolayers. It concluded bioabsorbent produced has high potential metals, addition being abundant product nature, biodegradable its reuse contributes reduction environmental pollution, production waste improves local circular economy through valorization byproduct.

In this work, our objective was to examine methods for processing cashew nut shell liquid and cashew shell with carbon dioxide and water. Supercritical CO2 was applied for extraction of split cashew shells and near-critical water was applied for reaction of the cashew shell material. In the extractions, it was found that a pressurization-depressurization step that was approximately 1 h gave ext...

Mosquito-borne diseases like dengue, malaria, lymphatic filariasis, Japanese encephalitis are major public health problems in India. Effective control of vector borne diseases is possible by early diagnosis and prompt treatment on one hand and effective vector control following integrated approach on the other hand. Intervention measures to restrict the transmission of mosquito-borne diseases b...
